Trigger warning, we do talk about child abuse and sexual assault. In this episode, we chat with Sara from Secure Foundations. Sarah has a background as a child practitioner and sexual abuse investigator. Now she is an online parenting coach helping parents raise emotionally intelligent and resilient little humans. We chat all about, risk reduction in terms of child safety and how we can have open communication with our kids about their bodies and consent:
What can we do to teach our little ones about consent and body autonomy?
Should we name genitalia by their proper name?
